Some Money Saving Ideas
“If you would be wealthy, think of saving as well as getting”. There rarely are the people who don’t want to be rich in life. There are no shortcuts to it and striving for it has its own pleasure. No doubt people earn a lot these days but the money value has come drastically down. So toiling hard to get earn more is important but saving is equally important.
One gets a lot of options to save our money from heavy discounts on online sale to buying checks from cheap check store; the need is to grab every such opportunity.
Here are a few ways:
- We spend more money on TV, internet and phone using different services. But if these are brought under one service, people can save money by availing discounts and other benefits.
- Amount spent on paying the bills of newspapers and magazines can be saved by reading these online, free of cost. If magazines are charged for it then you should go preferably for magazine subscriptions to avail good discounts.
- There is no fun of paying huge interests on credit cards. Normally keep only one and use it when it is very urgent and only to the extent that you are able to pay the dues on monthly basis.
- Don’t pay for having the checking account. Certain banks provide this service without charging anything. Banks may, however, charge for the extra checks. There is no need to buy checks from the banks but from some cheap check store where one can get fair discounts.
- Even in the home use of energy saver appliances should be used like the CFL’s (compact fluorescent bulbs). These save a lot of energy and hence a lot of money.
- Insurance too provides a chance to save money like raising the deductable.
- The costs incurred during the cold season can be lowered by filling in the gaps and checks unlimited in windows and foundation. Also using the cold drafts beneath the doors and using minimum number of rooms.
Follow the above guidelines and try to save the maximum without putting yourself into the uncomfortable zone. It is about forced saving but saving what can be saved with ease.
